Has 29 years of experience in agriculture across Africa, covering livestock and crop research and rural development, institutional development, project review, project evaluation, project identification, project preparation, project appraisals, and supervision, University lecturing in agriculture. Have worked as a livestock and crop consultant for several projects in Zimbabwe under Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Food and Nutrition Security programs, Human resources organizational change management. My focus is mainly on agricultural contribution to food and nutritional security and rural livelihoods issues among smallholders. I was and still involved in the review and development of national, regional, and international agricultural institutions and their governance and operational plans (Ethiopia, China and Netherlands). I worked effectively and well with many agencies, national policymakers, and stakeholders at various levels from local village communities to senior government officials at the national level. This has equipped me with a good understanding of agricultural development, extension issues, and challenges in Zimbabwe. I am Directing and coordinating eight districts in crops, livestock, horticulture, own farm research and development, irrigation schemes, projects on food and nutrition security, gender mainstreaming extension, training, mentoring and transformation, Smart agriculture, GAP. I am Heading Agronomists, Animal Scientists, Horticulturists, Agri-business, Human Resources, Accounts, Administration officials at Provincial down to district level with over 900 staff members.
