Dr. Mushunje’s experience in social development spans over 22 years. She has an expansive wealth of experience in humanitarian and development work from government, national, international Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
and the United Nations. Her robust knowledge of gender, women’s empowerment, social protection and rural development issues will contribute greatly to the Cottco Board and women cotton farmers, who are the majority, can be assured of an avid advocate. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of KwaZulu Natal, a Masters in Gender and Development Studies from University of Manchester (U.K) and a Bachelors Degree in Social Work (U.Z) amongst other qualifications.
